Watermelon a Must

Mixed up another 2 gallon batch of mead. This time I used raw unfiltered honey from Honey Acres, a local honey manufacturing plant right up the road from me in Neosho. I'm leaving it ferment for one week before adding 4-6 pounds of fresh Watermelon. Once primary fermention is complete, I'll split this mixture into two one gallon carboys for secondary fermenting. During secondary I plan on adding fresh ginger and lemon zest to one carboy while adding cinnamon, vanilla bean and cloves to the other.
