Even though winter hasn't officially begun, we're counting down the days to spring so we put our new hop trellis to work and grow our own fresh hops. The trellis will be able to hold six 13ft. tall bines with each one able to harvest nearly 2 ounces of cones. Our plan is to grow six different hop varieties for use in our Midwest Coast IPA series and for some our new experimental pilot brews! We'll be planting the crowns in early April with an expected harvest date sometime in mid August.
