Nuclear Skunk 60 Minute IPA

4-25 Brew Day

Late Friday afternoon start with my son on our latest IPA we call Nuclear Skunk. This is our second attempt because I botched the first one when tossing in the wrong hops. After taking another trip with my son to Northern Brewer to restock for this particular brew we are ready to move forward. Recipe called for a base of Pale Ale Malt, 2 specialty malts, Chinook hops and California yeast. What makes this beer stand out from the others was the placement of the hops. We decided to place the hops in 5 minute increments for a end total of 3 oz. of Chinook goodness. Theory has it Nuclear Skunk will be  a very bitter beer bursting with aroma and flavor. Only time will tell and I can't wait!

Prost!
